Some pieces of work encompass an entire panoramic scene, others capture otherwise inessential detail, exploring the abstract patterns found within the scene. Both perspectives offer a unique visual experience and their own inspiration. 

The intangible in ideas, observations, and personal experience from a broad point of view or from an intimate, internal, abstract perspective are equally intriguing to me. Hopefully what I share in my art and with my words rests well with the reciever of it.

The most important thing in a landscape painting and in one’s life is the source of light and seeing it’s affect.

I am enthralled by the effects of Sunlight in landscapes or on objects. In my paintings and drawings I exploit light and shadow to bring life and dimention to a piece. Using indirect or diffused lighting, merely suggesting a light source, allows me to create an ambient soft effect. The brighter the illumination from the light source, the more visual contrast between the darks and lights.

1 -  a website that contains online personal reflection, comments, and often hyperlinks, videos, and photographs provided by the writer.

2 - the contents of such a site m, ie. a regular feature appearing as part of an online publication that typically relates to a particular topic and consists of articles and personal commentary by one or more authors.

Anyway…trying to figure out this site building app, and the only way I can add a text only section is by calling it a blog. Turns out it’s also a verb…I can blog, so I guess I can call myself a blogger?
